We’re a group of dedicated Sawyer parents, staff, community members and teachers!
WHAT
We spearhead fundraising efforts to be able to provide fun events, field trips and experiences before, during and after school!
WHY
We feel passionately that students should feel welcome, accepted and loved at school – the place they spend a majority of their time!
Our Big Events
We put together a lot of events each year, here’s some of our biggest ones!
Read-a-thon
The Sawyer Read-a-thon is our biggest fundraiser of the year! Students fundraise for the school, foster a love of reading, and top readers and fundraisers take home a prize!
STEM Night
STEM Night is a fun-filled event designed to grow our children’s interest in STEM fields. Local groups, clubs, and businesses set up activities for the kiddos to learn all about STEM!
Carnival
Our carnival is an amazing community event each year full of games, entertainment, food, prizes & more!
Autumn Festival
We get together, paint pumpkins, do a trunk-or-treat, play, and eat with other Sawyer families and staff at the Autumn Festival!
Art & Music Showcase
This end of the year event, our Art & Music Showcase, sets out to highlight the children’s beautiful artwork and singing!
Game Night
Game Night: an annual event where we play board games, do trivia, escape rooms, bingo & more!
Monthly Dine-to-Donates
Every month we choose a local restaurant to partner with and a portion of their proceeds will be donated back to the school; we call these Dine-to-Donates!
Back-to-School Bash
The Back-to-School bash is a big party on the playground during back-to-school night. Meet your new classmates, eat some food and play!

We also have random fundraisers throughout the year: butter braids, Charleston Wrap, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Scratch Cupcakes & more!
